You will be back and forth to your local hardware store more times that you can count on your fingers! Here is one of our first trips to the store to get some wood. We wanted to make sure the interior of the coop was built with non-treated wood (that will later get painted with interior paint). We returned to the store to get screws, lots of screws. We also needed the LP smartside siding, roofing material, hinges, hardware cloth, stain, paint, and a number of other items. This is definitely to be continued…
